Reason for being: “Biochemicals are an important part of our everyday lives, and we depend on these products for everything from laundry to medicine. However, many of these chemicals are manufactured by unsustainable processes which generate large amounts of chemical waste or require large areas of land that could otherwise be used to grow crops for food.”
