New Journal Dedicated to Synthetic Biology

ACS has announced the launch of a new peer-reviewed journal focusing exclusively on synthetic biology and systems bioscience.

The new journal – “ACS Synthetic Biology” – will be a rapid publication forum lead by Editor-in-Chief Christopher A. Voight of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and include high-quality research articles, letters, technical notes as well as tutorials and reviews.

Of particular interest are studies on the design and synthesis of new genetic circuits and gene products, computational methods in the design of systems and integrative applied approaches to understanding disease and metabolism.

The journal is already accepting submissions.
