Registration Open for Synbio Course 2014

Starting February 2014, students with backgrounds in subjects as varied as in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, physics and medical science will begin University of Copenhagen's Master level course in synthetic biology.

Synbio Master Student Wins Novo Competition
Master Student Maya Mileck at Dpt. of Plant and Environmental Sciences was awarded Best Presenter at the Novo Scholarship Symposium. Together with all master student recipients of the Novo scholarship in 2014, she was invited to present the results of her master thesis at the symposium.

BØRSEN: Synbio Opens New Road for Industry
A feature article in The Danish national newspaper Børsen presented the aims of the Danish Center for Commercialization of Synthetic Biology: To start a new industrial revolution in Denmark relying on biologically based production of a wide range of compounds including cancer medicine and jet-biofuel.
