Network of Young Synbio Investigators Kick-off event

What is NYSI?

The main purpose of the club in its current form is to invite postdocs, PhD-students, and research assistants to a specially arranged event approximately every second month. These could be e.g.:

Informal meetings with a guest from a relevant corporation or granting body

Excursions to relevant corporations or external scientificial institutions (e.g. Novozymes, who has hired former synbio-researchers, or Kgl. Videnskabernes Selskab – The Danish Royal Academy).

What will you get out of it?

  • Form a network that can prove to be important for your future career be it in academia or in the industry
  • Get informed about research funding
  • Discuss your work with peers in an informal setting
  • Get to know other young scientists from the Center
