Anne-Marie Engel holds a PhD in medicine from University of Copenhagen. In the years 1995-2003 she was postdoctoral fellow employed as a research assistant at the Bartholin Institute and in 2004 as a clinical coordinator in the Research & Development Department at Statens Serum Institut. Anne-Marie Engel was appointed as Deputy Head of Research at Lundbeck Foundation in May 2005 and was appointed Head of Research in October 2008.

NB: The network is meant for all PhD students, postdocs, master students and young research assistants working in labs or research groups affiliated with the Center for Synthetic Biology. So even if you do not regard yourself as working with synthetic biology, you are very welcome to participate.
